Zusammenfassung:
The study deals with prevalence rates of particular mental disorders in stroke in-patients during rehabilitation. Out of the 180 patients (Ps) of the sample, 38 % suffered from depressive syndrome, and 10 % had at least one anxiety disorder. Concerning alcohol, there was no addiction or abuse. The most frequent anxiety disorder was agoraphobia without panic (6 %). Increased current prevalence as compared to lifetime prevalence was found for Major Depression, Major Depression in remission and to a lesser extent for Minor Depression. Main risk factors for PSD are anxiety disorders (before or after stroke). © 2001 Verlag Hans Huber.
