Benzocaine is commonly used as a local anesthetic in the medical field. An occupationaly related allergy to benzocaine can thus be found in health care professionals, but with a very low prevalence. The consequences on the job market can therefore be classified as "low-grade". © 2008 Dustri-Verlag Dr. Karl Feistle. |
