Zusammenfassung:
These recommendations help to assess the impact of an occupationally acquired contact allergy to methylchloroisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone (MCI/MI) on the reduction of the earning capacity in cases of occupational skin disease according to No. 5101 of the German list of occupational diseases. MCI/MI is being relatively widely used in occupational settings, e.g. in paints, lacquers, metalworking fluids, adhesives, and polishes, but also in household products and body care products. Occupations concerned are painters, printers, locksmiths and metalworkers having contact with MCI/MI. © 2011 Dustri-Verlag Dr. Karl Feistle.
