Zusammenfassung:
Digital learning has become more than just a trend in the modern world. Blended learning concepts have proven their usability.A further development is the so called flipped classroom. This approach repurposes class time to focus on application and discussion. The acquisition of knowledge will happen at home, enabled by virtual lectures. In the past, many researchers and lecturers demonstrated the advantages of flipped classroom concepts within case studies and self-developed assessment. Still a standardized evaluation of flipped classroom concepts is missing. However, it is necessary to learn from the past and improve future education. This paper presents a generic evaluation of flipped classroom concepts. On the example of a case, we will demonstrate which elements of a flipped classroom concept can be assessed and which measures may serve to improve the acceptance, the learning outcomes and applicability for students and teachers. © 2018 Leuphana Universitat Luneburg.
