Ministerios para mujeres en la Iglesia? Debates en el camino sinodal de la Iglesia alemana

Abstract

At the end of January 2020, the first meeting of the Synodal Path of the Catholic Church in Germany established four Forums concerning the topics: power and separation of powers, priestly way of life, women in the offices and ministries of the Church and sexual morality. These topics were prompted by the investigations of abuse within the clergy toward young people and women. This essay addresses how the third Synodal Forum, “Women in the Offices and Ministries of the Church”, outlines the theological lines of discussion regarding women's access to ministries and resumes the reform initiated by the Second Vatican Council in the Catholic Church in Germany. © 2020.
