dc.description.abstractWe investigate a phase shifter based on a garnet slab sandwiched between cover and substrate. Asymptotical expressions for the nonreciprocal phase shift in the regions close to and far from cutoff are obtained. A simple formula is presented, which described the behaviour of the nonreciprocal phase shift over the entire range of normalized film thickness.
