dc.description.abstractThe excess enthalpies of liquid alloys in the ternary systems Ge-In-Te and Ge-Sb-Te were determined in a heat flow calorimeter at 1073 K along the sections Ge0.5In(Sb)(0.5) -Te and for GeyIn(Sb)(1-y)-Te with y = 0.2, 0.5 and 0.8 at 1173 K. The largest values of the exothermic enthalpies are found in both systems along a line from GeTe to M2Te3 (M = In, Sb). The association model was applied for the analytical description of the melt in the binary tellurium systems. Additional ternary interaction parameters had to be used for the calculation of excess enthalpies. They were obtained by fitting curves to the experimental data with the least squares method.
