The crystal structure of ammonium hexaaquanickel(II) phosphate [Ni (H2O)(6)][NH4][PO4] was determined by single crystal X-ray methods, The compound crystallizes with orthorhombic symmetry in the space group Pmn2(1) with fell parameters of a = 692.40(14) pm, b = 410.30(12) pm, c = 1116.6(2) pm, Z = 2. The cell contains two nickel(II) cations, octahedrally coordinated by six H2O molecules, two NH4+ cations and two phosphate anions, all connected by hydrogen bonds.
