Zusammenfassung:
Islamic religious education takes on greater significance. However, it has yet to be the subject of evaluative studies. The study ``Attitudes, value orientation and educational experience of trainee Islamic religious teachers'' provides an overview of educational experiences and religious self-placement of students with the professional aim of becoming Islamic religious teacher. This is also of societal interest, as these teachers will very much determine the attitudes of young Muslims in Germany. On basis of qualitative research, the complex processes in the interviewees' biographies can be revealed. This information cannot be gathered using standardized methods. In this article, the authors focus on the effects that education a person has experienced have on the religiosity of Islamic religious teachers and trainee teachers.
