Ikosipodoides seychellensis, a new genus and species of interstitial polychaetes (Dorvilleidae) from the island of Mahe, Indian Ocean

The new species is in general very similar to the taxon Ikosipodus Westheide, 1982 but lacks a jaw apparatus and has 7 instead of 10 chaetigerous segments. Its evolutionary origin is discussed. |
