We present measurements of the temperature dependence of the pyroelectric effect in congruently melting strontium-barium-niobate doped with cerium and chromium in the range of the relaxor phase-transition. The influence of the doping concentration on the transition temperature is shown and discussed with respect to the influence of internal strain fields.
