Zusammenfassung:
We present the case of a chemical worker with occupational allergic contact dermatitis of the hands caused by delayed-type sensitization to thiurams and zinc diethyldithiocarbamate and usage of dithiocarbamate-containing protective gloves. The selection of adequate protective gloves was very challenging in light of the special requirements for skin protection at the patient's workplace and the sensitizations to rubber accelerators. For now, leaving the occupation was prevented by organizational measures.
