With flowers to electrochemistry - new and simple experimental set-ups

Abstract

Based on the special ability of floral foam plug to absorb and store liquids exciting and innovative electrochemical experiments were developed which will be used in the ``Durch die Blume''- Ein chemischer Streifzug durch ein Floristik Fachhandel project. Floral foam plug is used as the reaction vessel and can increase experimental safety and economic colloquial with chemicals in student experiments. Especially the safe and easy breadboard of the standard hydrogen-electrode is remarkable because it provides an opportunity to produce this experiment by students.
